The Assessor's Office collects information about property sales to compare with the market value estimated by the assessor thought the Electronic Certificate of Real Estate (eCRV). this information is used to study market trends to assist in determining Estimated Market Values.
The Department of Revenue requires all county assessors to utilize a specified time period for sales analysis. This 12 month time period is from October 1 to September 30 preceding the assessment date.
