What we eat, our activity level, genetics and our environment all play a role in determining our health. Adults spend a large portion of our waking hours at work where we consume at least one meal a day and many snacks. Think about it…every time you see food, you make a decision to eat it or not. The more choices we make throughout the day, the harder each one becomes for our brain and it's called Decision Fatigue.
March 3-9, 2018 was Diabetes Awareness Week in Red Wing. Kicked off by a citywide declaration from Red Wing Mayor Sean Dowse, Live Well Goodhue County sponsored a 1-mile walk on March 3 and provided free blood glucose screenings throughout the week to help the general public become more aware of their risk of developing type2 diabetes.
