Community Engagement

Deputies from the Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office constantly engage our community through calls for service and everyday patrol. We believe that proactive engagement with the community in the form of events, meetings, and being involved in community functions is not only a way to build relationships with the community but it is also a tool for our Deputies to have in order to dial in on what our community needs from us.

Community engagement in Goodhue County is in many forms including events such as Fishing with a Deputy, the County Fair, National Night out, Patrolling our communities on a bike, Coffee with a Deputy, Home premise surveys, and so many other things.

The Goodhue County Sheriff's Office also provides free presentations to community groups and government organizations on various topics including: Police Canine Program, Emergency Response Team (SWAT), ATV/Boat and Water/Snowmobile Safety, Drug Use, Identity Theft, and Personal Safety. To setup a presentation contact Deputy Jen Hofschulte at 651-267-2869.
