County Road 1 construction between Trunk Highway 60 and County Road 9 will resume this week with some off road work and minor traffic disruptions. Road Closure and grading will start next Wednesday, May 9, beginning with the section of County Road 1 from County Road 30 to County Road 9. No through traffic will be possible from County Road 30 to County Road 9 during this work. The traveling public should use the marked detour route that will direct them around the construction area. Please be aware that access to the Aspelund Church will always be available by using County Road 8 from Hader.
After County Road 1 grading between County Road 30 and County Road 9 is completed, the section between Trunk Highway 60 and County Road 30 will be closed for grading.
All of the remaining work for this Contract between Trunk Highway 60 and County Road 9 will take approximately 4-5 weeks to complete and is a continuation of the pipe replacement on County Road 1 that began last fall. Concrete surfacing under a separate contract will begin later this summer.
